We Love our Diverse Sea Wolf Community!
Our families at Cedar Wood represent cultures and backgrounds from all over the world. This diversity gives us the opportunity to learn from one another so that our children grow up to become more aware of the world around them and the variety of perspectives which make up our society. We welcome all families into our Cedar Wood community and hope you will engage in some of our activities we have going on at the school!
The Cedar Wood PTA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is dedicated to looking critically at our PTA and its sponsored events in order to ensure that all families are represented, respected and heard. We are in the beginning stages of our DEI work and hope to form a committee of individuals representing a wide variety of backgrounds (cultural, religious, genders, socioeconomic statuses, ages, etc.) to help with this important work. This year we hope to create a mission statement, goals, and start the process of learning from our community members and families how we can be more equitable and inclusive.

Cultural Connectors Program
Cultural Connectors are families who support new families to our Cedar Wood community in navigating Cedar Wood and the Everett Public School system. Some responsibilities of a Cultural Connector are:
- Allow your email and phone number to be given to other Cedar Wood families.
- Provide support and answers to questions.
- Refer families to school staff who can further address concerns and questions.
