Chess Club

Strategic Kids LEGO® Ninjas: The World of Ninjago

Thursdays, April 13-June 8, 3:35pm-4:35pm

The World of Ninjago will have students dive into the fascinating and exhilarating world of Ninjas. Explore Ninja heroes and villains and the worlds and ways in which they live. Kids will use fun facts and logic to solve the dilemmas Ninjas find themselves in. Mighty Coders Class

Wednesdays, April 12-June 14, 3:35pm-4:35pm

Join the forces of Mighty Coders! Start your journey from Recruit to Superhero while opening the Learning to code is just like learning karate, gymnastics, or playing piano. Consistent practice, week after week, and solving problems is important for success.
The unique Coders Quest at Cedar Wood Elementary focuses on building Fundamentals of Computers and uses Logic to solve problems with a game based approach.
We use If-Else control flows, While loops, Operators and Variables to build on those foundation and reinforce with hands-on practice of newly learned skills. Our Code Mentors are always there to support our superheroes. Students enjoy building fun projects and advancing from Recruit to Superhero within the Forces of Mighty Coders.
Mighty Coders will provide its proprietary coursework, and devices for the duration of the class. bit.ly/MightyCoders-CedarWood
PLEASE NOTE: These are private programs organized by our PTA. Sign ups and payments are done directly through each company providing the activity. The school or PTA cannot sign you up or take payments.
