Holiday Toy & Gift Card Drive

TOY & GIFT CARD DRIVE
Spread Joy. Share Kindness. Make a Child Smile.
WHEN: December 10th & 11th
WHERE: Drop off in front of the school
TIME: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM & 3:15PM – 3:45 PM
We’re collecting NEW, UNOPENED, UNWRAPPED TOYS & UNUSED Gift Cards in small amounts ($10 – $20) for children of all ages.
Your donation will help brighten the season for families in our community.
Suggested Items:
• Dolls & action figures
• Puzzles & games
• Books
• STEM & creative kits
• Balls, sports toys & more!

HO - HO - HO-LIDAY HOOPLA SPIRIT WEEK
DECEMBER 15 -19th 2025
Students are invited to dress up according to a different holiday-themed prompt each day. Let’s celebrate the season, build school spirit, and have a fun, festive week.
Monday, 12/15 – “You’re a mean one, Mister Grinch”
Students can dress up like the Grinch or in Grinch-inspired colors and accessories.
Tuesday, 12/16 – Jingle Bell Rockstar
Kids are invited to show off their best rockstar look—guitars, sparkles, leather, big hair—plus bells for extra holiday flair.
Wednesday, 12/17 – Warm Wishes in Winter Jammies
A cozy day! Students may wear their favorite winter pajamas to school.
Thursday, 12/18 – Candy Cane Lane
Everyone is encouraged to dress in red and white, just like candy canes.
Friday, 12/19 – Ugly Sweaters
A fun finale where students wear their most festive, silly, or decorative holiday sweaters.

Let’s fill Cedar Wood Staff with warmth, kindness, and homemade soup!
We’re excited to launch a new initiative to nourish our amazing Cedar Wood staff with comforting, home-cooked soups prepared by our wonderful community. You may contribute just once or sign up for a monthly slot to keep the warmth coming all year long!

Bowls and spoons will be provided in the staff lounge.
🥕 SOUP CATEGORIES & GUIDELINES
To help keep our staff safe and informed, please follow these guidelines:
Label soups clearly (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, contains nuts, etc.)
Prevent cross-contamination
Use separate ladles, utensils, and preparation surfaces if needed.Keep toppings separate
(cheese, sour cream, croutons, herbs, etc.)Include a notecard listing all ingredients in your soup.

ANNUAL STAFF APPRECIATION
HOLIDAY COOKIE EXCHANGE
DECEMBER 17 8:45 AM - 9:10 AM
Help us provide our Cedar Wood staff with a sweet holiday treat!
We’re hosting our Annual Staff Appreciation Holiday Cookie Exchange, and we’d love your help in supplying plenty of cookies, either store-bought or homemade.
Cookie Drop-Off:
Wednesday, 12/17, 8:45–9:10 AM, in front of the school
Please bring cookies in easy-to-transport containers such as Ziploc bags or disposable aluminum pans.

Join us for a special evening celebrating our talented Cedarwood PTA Reflections students! Student artwork will be on display, and this is when we’ll announce which pieces will advance to the Washington State level of the competition.
All are welcome, so feel free to invite friends and family who would like to celebrate your student’s accomplishments. Please ensure everyone RSVPs so organizers can plan accordingly.
